First thing, this fire will not be getting under control without rain. Heavy rain is the only way to get it under control at this point, there is nothing what the fire fighters can do.
Why they denied the helped, only they know. Officially they said, we have enough resources here in Canada to get it under control (we see how good that worked). The next thing is, they first need to get everyone out before they send more people up. Also, some of the waterbombers cannot fly due to bad visibility. This is the official version.

She told the MLA from Fort Mac he is fear mongering, a day later they put a mandatory evacuation notice for Fort Mac out..... She refused to call out a state of emergency....a day later she did.... And opening a press conference in regards to the brush fires in Fort Mac with a bad star wars joke is so immature, especially when it comes prom the PM...

Luckily we are at no danger so far. We are about 460km south off it. Seeing those camps hit by fire still hurts. It was my husbands second home for almost 6 years now.

The press conference was in May 4th and he opened it with the sentence "may the force (fourth) be with them..." and had a smirk on his face.... this is just plain and simple not the time for such bs

It is a thread where we can train our English. And corrections Are welcome. Butter it is better to write in German in that case so the other person can really understand.

Markus say's when we want to write here in english we have to translate our words in german at the end thereby others people who can not english will understand.
